A “Long Distance Move” move is considered to be a move with a distance exceeding 100 miles between the old and new residence. Transportation charges are based on transported weight and mileage.
As a member of the California Moving and Storage Association, Greater Bay northAmerican provides our clients with written, “Guaranteed”, Not to Exceed Estimates, which are based on the moving services requested and the household goods listed to be moved during our complementary in home survey service. Under this guaranteed move program you are only charged for the actual weight shipped and services utilized per our written guarantee. In the event that additional moving services are requested, or if additional items are shipped that were not accounted for during your survey, additional charges would apply.  It is our policy to provide every customer with the California Public Utilities Commission (PUC), “Important Information Booklet” which explains your rights and responsibilities. Please ensure you understand the content of this important document.
