Our corporate parent is the MERIDIAN WORLDWIDE TRANSPORTATION GROUP. The company was founded in 1964 as a California based relocation company specializing in the movement of household goods and personal effects. Since that time the Meridian Worldwide Transportation Group has become recognized in the industry, as both a leader and innovator in the transportation field. The company is a corporation operating full service facilities in both Northern and Southern California.

In the mid 70's, our company was one of the first to recognize a need for major corporations to take advantage of local expertise in the area of domestic and international relocations.

Greater Bay northAmerican focused on ways to specialize in this, and has enjoyed significant growth over the years. Our company is readily able to handle the relocation of household goods, personal effects and automobiles, both domestically as well as internationally, to and from all points.

At the same time Greater Bay northAmerican also targeted the "Silicon Valley" in California and it's growing need for highly specialized transportation firms to handle the transportation, warehousing and distribution of high value products.

Today this division of Greater Bay northAmerican is one of the largest in the industry. We transport computer and medical equipment, communication equipment, office systems and even satellites for space age technology!

Greater Bay northAmerican is heavily involved in office and industrial relocations. We are equipped to move entire companies locally or across the country, even around the world. Our trained crews can make even the largest office relocation a much more simplified project due to our many years of experience and expertise. "Project Managers" will assist you in planning every detail, assuring you of a smooth move.

Additionally Greater Bay northAmerican operates large warehouses in several key California cities including Tustin (S. California), Union City, Fremont and San Jose (N. California). At these facilities we offer storage for household goods and personal effects, high value products, office systems, new products and records storage as well as a host of other commodities. Through our affiliation with northAmerican Van Lines, we can offer our customers complete warehousing and related services throughout the United States and internationally!

Both Greater Bay northAmerican, and it's parent company Meridian Worldwide Transportation Group are licensed to operate in California by the: California Public Utilities Commission (Cal T #189827).

We also hold licenses issued by the:

• U.S. Department of Transportation (D.O.T.)
• Federal Maritime Commission (F.M.C. 2116)

As an air freight forwarder we are licensed and adhere to the regulations of the:

• International Air Transport Association (I.A.T.A.)
